The “Iron Man” sequel doesn’t hit theaters for another 10 months, but exclusive photos featuring the cast can be yours now. This week’s issue of “Entertainment Weekly,” on newsstands today, is their second annual Comic-Con Preview and features upcoming movies, comics and television shows.
Comic-Con International is a fan conference that features comics and items from across pop culture. It is in its 30th year and will be held at the San Diego Conference Center July 23-26.

The “EW” photo spread for “Iron Man 2″ includes shots of new characters Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Whiplash (Mickey Rourke), as well as returning protagonist Tony Stark, aka Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.). The superhero character was created by comic industry legend Stan Lee and debuted in 1963. Last summer’s first installment of the movie franchise grossed $318 million and currently ranks #22 on the list of the all-time highest grossing films in the United States.
