This morning’s “Red Eye” reports that Lebowski Fest, an annual festival dedicated to the Coen brothers’ 1998 cult classic “The Big Lebowski,” will visit Chicago September 13-15. Celebrating its eighth year, the festival includes trivia and costumes, and boasts 13 host cities. The film starred Jeff Bridges as The Dude and John Goodman as Walter Sobchak.
Chicago attendees can partake in a movie watch at the Portage Theater (4050 N. Milwaukee) and a bowling party at Diversity River Bowl (2211 W. Diversey), as well as look forward to special guests, still TBA. Tickets for various events run from $20 to $32.
