Ever since the fall of Reese and Ryan in 2007, The Take Three has been searching for a new favorite Hollywood couple. Sure, we’ve had Amy Poehler and Will Arnett to fill our comedy needs– and God help us if they ever split, because we may just lose it if that happens. But what we really needed was a beautiful couple to compliment our funny couple.
Low and behold, after a short courting period, a new favorite was born: Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds. And on a secret, lovely Saturday night– September 27, 2008, to be exact– the beautiful pair snuck away to the wilderness outside of Vancouver and tied the knot in private.
It hardly seems like it’s been a whole year because this couple, of all the movie star couples out there, knows how to fly under the radar. But The Take Three is on top of this one-year anniversary, because Scarlett is our dream woman and Ryan is our dream man, and somewhere out there in the Hollywood ether, Dream Woman and Dream Man get to be together. A fantasy, for sure, but a reality for our very favorite Hollywood couple. So here’s hoping the pair has many more happy years together and helps keep our allusions about beautiful and perfect people alive. We’re counting on you guys. Oh, and very much looking forward to some gorgeous babies.
