“Alice” crushes new releases in weekend box office

For the second weekend in a row, Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” has taken the box office top spot, earning $62 million, more than four times second-place finisher “Green Zone” ($14.5 M). Other newbies this weekend, “She’s Out of My League” ($9.6 M) and “Remember Me” ($8.3 M), finished third and fourth respectively, and “Our Family Wedding” debuted in sixth place with $7.6 million.
